The mud run.

Writing: Free Writing

Persuasive

I jumped into the goo. It was brown and sticky. It wasn’t deep until I took a few more steps.
I waded through a deep pool of muddy water. The suction of the mud wrapped around my legs pulling me down and holding my feet tightly. I shook my feet rapidly setting them free.

Mud oozed through my legs.

The next part was easy. The mud was only up to my knees while before it was up to my chest.

I stepped slowly towards a big man with his name sewed onto the top of his blue t-shirt. I scanned the name on the t-shirt “ Max Atienza “ I said repeating it thinking I know that name. Then I remembered its my old mate. “ HEY MAX OVER HERE” I shouted  making him jump and get mud up to his neck.”Awwww hey mate how are you” he said as I ran towards him reaching out for a man hug.” Fancy I see you here ay “ I chuckled.
The man hug was very muddy and sticky but we are men not chickens.
We set off following the strangers leading us towards the end finding a white flag blowing around.

It was then end. We hoped out and jump into the sea 20 meters away from the mud run. It was cold but nice.

For me I found that it was harder getting out the mud then getting in!!!
